Responsibilities

• Hands on Design, Development, Deployment, Configuration & Support of various Integration platform components

• Design, Build & Support the essential foundations of the Equinix Integration platform applying integration best practices

• Work with Application Architects & Business Systems Analyst to Design and Deliver Integration solutions to meet Biz requirements

• Partner with Equinix BSA leads and architects to define & coordinate technical design and project delivery

• Collaborate & work in a Distributed Development team environment & enable successful delivery

• Support the Integration platform and provide Operational visibility to stakeholders

Application QA

• Develops unit and cross functional tests, develops test strategies, executes test cases, logs issues, manages issues, recommends testing frameworks, records and runs automated test scripts, and designs automated test scripts

• Sets testing standards and recommends testing frameworks

DevOps

• Defines roadmap of automation tools and its value to software engineering practices

• Drives infrastructure requirements

• Reviews release planning and deployment lists

Software Reliability & Support Engineering

• Captures, consolidates and maintains inventory of production applications, flows and systems for all the software engineering verticals

• Helps in preparing application support documentation

• Troubleshoots basic application issues with the help of knowledge base documents

Reporting

• Status reporting, release management progress updates

Technical Project Management

• Provides level of effort (LOE)

• Manages assigned development tasks to schedule/plan

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Technology or other equivalent field experience

• 5+ years of experience in developing highly distributed software platforms/systems

• 2+ years of operational understanding of Virtualization, Containerization ecosystem including Docker & Kubernetes

• 2+ years professional experience in a software development leadership role

• A high sense of ownership, passion for Platform development

• Experience in API Development Platform like TIBCO and API Management platforms like Apigee, MuleSoft is preferrable

• Experience in RESTful API development and GraphQL

• Experience optimizing a high traffic website for robustness and scale-out Architecture

• Experience in technologies like Cassandra, Kafka, Oracle database & JMS is a plus

• Expertise in troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems

• Experience in providing global support coverage is a plus

• Experience with AWS Cloud & Networking Concepts is a plus
